Colour INKspiration #50

Hello and thank you for visiting my blog today!

I am so happy to be hopping with the Colour INKspiration team members again!
You may have hopped from the amazing Lou Kitzelman.  You can click on her name to go straight to her blog.  Please make sure you visit all the crews blog posts by clicking on the next button at the bottom of each crews post. You don't want to miss any of the wonderful creations!

The INKspiration picture below is just beautiful and I love the colours!

I decided to use the Stitched All Around Bundle to create a Thank You card.

First I smooshed the Coastal Cabana ink onto the bottom right hand side of the shimmery white card stock.  I also splattered some Coastal Cabana dots over the coloured area with my aqua painter and my Coastal Cabana Ink. I opted to dry this with my heat tool rather than waiting for it to air dry.

I stamped the small repetitive x stamp in Blueberry Bushel above and below where the sentiment was to be placed  You will notice I stamped it twice, the second time it is stamped off. I also stamped the floral Thank You sentiment in Bermuda Bay twice on Shimmery White card stock. Once for the circle image and the other for the hand cut Thank You tag.

I then attached the Polka Dot Tulle ribbon on the card stock. I then die cut the detailed circle die in Sahara sand, a 1 3/8 inch circle in Bermuda Bay and one of the Floral Sentiments. I then hand cut the Thank You sentiment out and bannered the tiny ends. I also cut the little heart out of mango melody card stock.

I layered all these pieces. First the Sahara Sand detailed circle, then I glued the Bermuda Bay circle to that. I popped the sentiment circle up with Dimensionals and glued the Thank You and the sweet little heart onto the top of that.

I hope you enjoyed reading how I put this card together. I love a watercolour effect on my cards and the Shimmery White card stock makes this effect look gorgeous. I would encourage you to try it sometime.  No two pieces turn out the same!
